Travelling on bikes really limits the amount of souvenirs you can buy. If you don't have room for a pillow or change of shoes, you definitely don't have room for fragile ornaments. When we were in Europe I had to limit my souvenir shopping to vinyl toys (posted home on purchase) and badges. When we got home I couldn't decide what to do with them for ages until I found this deep photo frame. I made a soft backing out of old cut up t-shirts, pinned the badges on and ta-da! My favourites are the enamel beretwearing, cigar smoking man from a flea market in rural France and the waving turd from Antwerp.T he painting below is from last year when I made lots of double headed creatures - this one is called Engaged Couple.
