My feeling is crummy




The painting above isn't very exciting but it means a lot to me. Before I did a Fine Arts degree, I loved drawing, painting and general pfaffing around with colour and pictures. Afterwards, not so much. This painting was the first thing I did in three years that wasn't a tiny collage I spent hours on then cut up and threw away. No one else liked it but once I realised that I didn't care, BAM, I started painting again. It's better than watching TV, probably.
Also in the photos are a piece of wood I found crossing the Nullabor nine years ago, a photo of the boyfriend before The Haircut, a collection of minature vending machine Simpson's bobble heads and a Trexi toy.
