Christmas 2007 and I woke up early in the morning all excited to get my present from my boyfriend (I am a present junkie). Sure, he'd been saying he wasn't going to get me one as I'd missed a few of his birthdays but I was really, really hoping he didn't mean it. He did. Cue MUCH sulking and lip quivering.
This year he made up for it though and gave me this beautiful yet creepy (my favourite category) print by Mark Ryden. Good boyfriend! It's really heavy so I haven't hung it up yet, it's just resting on the drawers in my bedroom. I couldn't take a good photo of it up close but you can see it better at http://www.markryden.com
It's called "Sophia's Mercurial Waters" and is from the Bunnies and Bees Series. The baby elephant drinking breast milk is my favourite bit.
